Our Counter Fire Doors are a reliable barrier for counter-height and full-height openings. These protective doors work to contain fires and prevent their spread, ensuring that your building is protected. With up to three hours of protection, our UL-Labeled doors boost safety and security. The available SmokeShield® option is UL 1794 Labeled for advanced smoke protection. For even more reliability in the event of an emergency, pair our Counter Fire Doors with our innovative AlarmGard® operating system for fail-safe activation.

To achieve this feat, the Counter Fire Door boasts an in-tube hand crank, resulting in the smallest footprint among similar products. This innovative engineering gives your door the seamless look of a soffit with unique features like concealed smoke gasketing within guides for smoke containment and a bottom bar that fits seamlessly into the headbox when the door is open.

Our Counter Fire Doors blend extraordinary design with steadfast performance. Each door boasts color-matched fasteners crafted from galvanized or stainless steel. To create a personalized touch, we offer a diverse range of RAL powder coat hues and protective finishes. Sizes

The maximum limits listed in our UL procedure are for counter fire doors up to 16’-0” wide, 10’-0” high with a 120 sq ft maximum. If the counter shutter is over 12’ wide the limit is 7’6” high.
For openings that fall outside of the standard construction, please contact us.

Sensing Edge - Entrapment Protection Device

Designed with a flexible black rubber TPE material, our new sensing edge has two fins that conform to variations in the floor on both the interior and exterior of your door or grille ensuring a secure seal without requiring you to overset the bottom door limit. The sensing edge is easy to clean and remains free from rust and dirt stains, maintaining a fresh uniform appearance. With flexible 1" sealing fins, our sensing edges provide maximum protection while withstanding the elements.

Edges are tested and listed to UL 10B as a component of the rolling steel fire door assembly.
